2015 Lustman Resident Research Awards announced

The Yale Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015 Seymour Lustman Resident Research Awards in Psychiatry.

The awards, established in honor of the late Professor Seymour L. Lustman and made possible by a generous contribution from the Seymour L. Lustman Memorial Fund, are presented annually to outstanding physician-scientists for excellence in research carried out during their training.

First Place

Alan Lewis, MD, PhD
"Regulation of Aggression by Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptors in Animal Models and Potential Translation to Human Disorders"

Second Place

Gerrit van Schalkwyk, MBChB
"Social Media in Adolescents with Psychiatric Illness"

Samuel Wilkinson, MD
"PTSD Symptom Severity and Marijuana Use"
Mentor: Robert Rosenheck, MD

The honorees will receive their awards and present their research at the Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds on Friday, June 12th at 10:15 am in the CMHC Auditorium (34 Park Street).
