Components of STEP Treatment
The STEP Clinic offers comprehensive clinical care to help patients, their families and friends get through this difficult event. Our services include:
- Comprehensive clinical evaluation and regular outcome assessment
- Medication management
- Case management, including educational and employment support
- Individual therapy
- Cognitive behavioral and social skills group therapy
- Family education and support groups
Note: Because we are a research clinic, only half of our participants receive treatment in our clinic. The other half is treated in the community. Patients will be offered free STEP care as long as they are willing to travel to our clinic, at 34 Park St., in New Haven, CT. We also offer free parking.
