Mission

The Yale Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (P.O.W.E.R.) is a clinical-research program dedicated to the study of eating behaviors and thoughts. Yale POWER aims to develop and improve treatments for eating disorders and obesity. Yale POWER has programs are for adults with binge-eating disorder and adults who have had bariatric surgery and continue to have challenges with disordered eating or weight loss. Yale Teen POWER has behavioral treatments for children and adolescents who are experiencing disordered eating, body image concerns, or bullying.
