Neuroscience 2012: Stress, Recovery, and Wellness

In 2012, "Dr. Ruth" Westheimer was the featured speaker and awardee.
This annual symposium is aimed at mental health professionals, as well as consumers and their families, throughout the State of Connecticut. Presentations - which are non-technical in nature and geared towards a lay audience - highlight recent advances in basic and clinical neuroscience and explain their promise for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness.
